Welcome to the St. Tammany Bicentennial 1810-2010Welcome to the Bicentennial of St. Tammany Parish. Our logo reads “A vibrant past. An inspiring future” and this is the perfect description of what the parish we call home represents. Our parish has had a very colorful and unique history over the course of the last 200 years, and this website gives viewers a chance to view important events, people, businesses and places which have shaped St. Tammany.The timeline can be viewed in 50 year sections, and individual events can be viewed by clicking on the timeline entry. There are sections for important People and Families and Businesses and Places. Our Bicentennial Events Calendar lists events throughout the parish celebrating our Bicentennial. We invite you to visit our Shared Memories section, where you can read other accounts of the history of St. Tammany Parish, or enter your own story.
