Decentralized Arts Funding (DAF)
The Louisiana Decentralized Arts Funding Program (DAF) makes the arts available in every parish in the State of Louisiana by providing grant funding for artists, nonprofit organizations, community groups and local government agencies. Funding is allocated to each parish on a per capita basis utilizing U.S. census figures.
Grants are available for arts organizations and for project assistance to a variety of artists and other entities.

All projects for the 2017-2018 DAF cycle must occur between October 1, 2017 and September 30, 2018. The St. Tammany Commission on Cultural Affairs, which administers the DAF program for these parishes, will conduct a series of informational workshops explaining the program guidelines and how to complete application forms.

Crediting the Decentralized Arts Funding Program:
Organizations funded through the DAF program are required to credit the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, Louisiana State Arts Council, the National Endowment for the Arts and the St. Tammany Commission on Cultural Affairs by name, logo, and credit statement in all printed public material as appropriate.
Credit statements and logos must be included in all materials distributed to the public including posters, flyers, postcards, printed programs, brochures, and press releases.
