Participants: Boys and Girls - Ages 15 & up Cost: $100 Limit: 10 Campers Instructor: Joe Adragna, B.A. This camp, taught by Joe Adragna (BA, English, instructor Social Studies/English), takes campers through the story of the Beatles and their cultural effect on America. Contained within our study, Adragna will teach students research tools (including how to tell what is a legitimate source, how to document sources, etc.) and writing skills (how to come up with a successful thesis, how to organize a paper, how to cite documents, etc.). This camp will not only entertain the rock fan in your teenager, but also help them to think critically about historical events, apply knowledge learned in a meaningful way, and successfully research and write about what they have learned. Requirements: Any computer with a word type program and an Email account. Camp runs June 11-15 and continues June 18-20.
