Fuhrmann Performing Arts will present The Music Man, Jr. on March 23, 24 and 25 at the Greater Covington Center’s Fuhrmann Auditorium, 317 N. Jefferson Avenue, Covington, LA. Performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 23, and Saturday, March 24. A matinee performance will be held on Sunday, March 25, at 2:30 p.m.

 

The Music Man Jr. is part of Music Theatre International's Broadway Junior Collection. It is based on the story written by Meredith Willson and Franklin Lacey. Music and lyrics are by Meredith Willson. The Music Man Jr. includes classic tunes like "Trouble," "76 Trombones" and "Till There Was You." The play is directed by Christy McDonough of Paramount Academy of the Performing Arts LLC.
