St. Tammany Parish President Pat Brister invites the public to the annual St. Tammany Eggstravaganza Easter Celebration and Egg Hunt. The 2012 Eggstravaganza will be held on Saturday, April 7th, from 11 AM to 1:30 PM at John Davis Memorial Park off Hwy 190 in Lacombe.

Citizens are encouraged to wear their bonnets and bring their Easter baskets to participate in the contests for Best Bonnet and Basket. There will be free hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks provided. Musical entertainment will be provided by Papillion. A visit by the Easter Bunny may even be in the works!

The 2012 Eggstravaganza is sponsored by: Parish President Pat Brister, District 7 Councilman Jack Groby, St. Tammany Parish Government, Tammany Trace Foundation, St. Tammany Commission on Cultural Affairs, Recreation District #4, St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Reserves, Lacombe Crab Festival, and Fire District #3.
