Money Smart Week@ Your Library - Budgeting, Saving, and Investing

The St. Tammany Parish Library presents Money Smart Week®, a public awareness campaign designed to help consumers better manage their personal finances. Money Smart Week@ Your Library will consist of a program called “Budgeting, Saving, and Investing: Introduction to Various Savings and Investment Products”. It will be offered in two locations.

Kevin Zamjahn, Housing Counselor with Neighborhood Housing Services in Mandeville, will conduct the “Budgeting, Saving, and Investing: Introduction to Various Savings and Investment Products” program. Topics addressed will include the following: The Rule of 72, The Importance of Saving, Ways to Save, and Preparing a Spending Plan. “Budgeting, Saving, and Investing: Introduction to Various Savings and Investment Products” will be offered in the following two locations:

Slidell Branch, 555 Robert Blvd., 985-646-6470, Tuesday, April 24, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Causeway Branch, 3457 Hwy 190, 985-626-9779, Saturday, April 28, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public, and registration is recommended. Seating space is limited to adults.   Please stop by or call the branch holding the program, to register.
