The Awards Ceremony for the Second Annual St.Tammany Parish Student Film Competition will be held at Friday, May 4th at 7pm,at St. Scholastica Academy in Covington. The competition, sponsored by the St. Tammany Commission on Cultural Affairs, was open to all St. Tammany Parish high school students, both public and private.

Awards will be given in five categories: Documentary, Comedy, Drama, News Feature Story and Animation. Videos were submitted by students and viewed by the panel of judges for criteria ranging from originality and artistic expression to cinematography.
