St. Tammany Parish District 9 Councilman Gene Bellisario has set Tuesday, May 1st for his next District 9 Community Meeting.   The meeting will start at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria of Boyet Jr. High School, on Rebel Drive (off Pearl St., off E. Gause Blvd.)

The primary discussion topics for the meeting will be: purchase of the Southeast Hospital property for a drainage management area project; provide an update to changes and issues relating to the Brownswitch Road roundabout; update on the opening of the Fishing Pier located under the Twin Spans; update on the Finance committee - review new finance reports; Parish has hired a Director of Human Resources; and the construction start of the new feeder road between Airport Road and Hwy 11.  Also, we will discuss current drainage and 2012 capital projects for District 9 and the progress made regarding other local and parishwide projects.
