Fairview-Riverside State Park to host a Patriotic Reminiscenses June 30 - July 8
Visitors and campers at Fairview-Riverside State Park are invited to tour Otis House Museum June 30 - July 8 for a special patriotic display. Included with Otis House Museum tour, visitors can view a c.1919 child's American Flag dress; a 48-star cigar felt flag, and other artifacts that reference patriotism during the early 1900's.
The program is free with Otis House Museum tour of $4 per person; seniors aged 62+ and children 12 or younger are admitted free of charge, with tour ticket from the entrance station.
Fairview Riverside State Park and Otis House Museum are located one mile east of Madisnoville on Hwy 22 in St. Tammany Parish. The site includes camping, a day use picnic area on the banks of the Tchefuncte River and Otis House Museum.
