Comprehensive Rezoning

St. Tammany Parish Government has completed a Comprehensive Rezoning of the entire parish. This two year effort was the implementation of the St. Tammany Parish Unified Development Code - Volume 1 (Zoning Ordinance). This Code replaces the previous Landuse 523 Zoning Ordinance originally drafted and adopted over 20 years ago.

The Zoning Maps adopted by the Parish Council are located below.

North West Study Area
The St. Tammany Parish Council adopted the North West Area Zoning Map, Mobile Home Overlay Map, and Rural Overlay Map at the April 1, 2010 Council meeting.  The Zoning, Mobile Home Overlay, and Rural Overlay Maps became effective April 16, 2010.
 
The adopted North West Study Area Maps (as approved at the April 1, 2010 Council Meeting) can be found at the following links:

North East Study Area
The St. Tammany Parish Council adopted the North East Area Zoning Map, Mobile Home Overlay Map, and Rural Overlay Map at the April 1, 2010 Council meeting. The Zoning, Mobile Home Overlay, and Rural Overlay Maps became effective April 16, 2010.

South Central Study Area Recommendations

The St. Tammany Parish Council adopted the South Central Area Zoning Map at the April 2, 2009 Council meeting.  The Zoning Map became effective April 17, 2009.

South West Study Area
The St. Tammany Parish Council adopted the South West Area Zoning Map at the September 3, 2009 Council meeting. The Zoning Map became effective September 18, 2009.
