1. What positions are available?
You can check for job openings on our website under the section titled “Job Postings”.
2. Will you accept my resume?
St. Tammany Parish Government requires that all applicants complete an application as
part of the hiring process. You may provide your resume in addition to the application.
Job Applications that are faxed will not be accepted. Applications may be filled out and
submitted online to hr.stpgov.org or picked up from the following locations:

3. How do I submit an application online?
Go to “Apply Online” fill out the application, read and agree to the terms and conditions
and check the box before submitting.
4. Do I have to take a test?
No positions require written skills or practical testing. Most tests are knowledge based
and require an understanding of basic skills. There are no study guides for tests given by
the St. Tammany Parish Government.
5. When are applications accepted?
Applications are accepted for all positions from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday -Friday.
Applicants that wish to complete an application in the HR Department must arrive
by 4:00 p.m. in order to complete the application during office hours.
All positions have a deadline date and must arrive in the Human Resources department no later
than 4:30 p. m. on that date.
