| goSTAT (St. Tammany Area Transportation) is a demand response transportation system that operates within the political boundaries of St. Tammany Parish Government. This system is open to residents within St. Tammany Parish. The program operates two types of services: rural transportation and urban transportation, designed to transport passengers to and between essential services and destinations. |

Rural
|
goSTAT Rural Service operates a transportation system for residents of St. Tammany Parish whose trips originate in a rural area. This service is non-emergency, demand-response and for a nominal fee provides curb-to-curb service on a call-in, first come first serve basis.

Urban
|
goSTAT Urban service operates a transportation system for residents of St. Tammany Parish whose trips originate in an urban area. Urban areas of the Parish are typically comprised of the cities of Slidell, Covington, Mandeville and parts of Lacombe. This service is non-emergency, demand-response and for a nominal fee provides curb-to-curb service on a call-in, first come first serve basis.

Fares
|
Fare rates are based on miles traveled one way. Providers will determine mileage at reservation. Fares are collected at boarding.
GENERAL PUBLIC
Miles Cost per Trip
Up to 10 miles one-way $1.50 ($3 round trip)
11 to 25 miles one-way $2.50 ($5 round trip)
26+ miles one-way $4.00 ($8 round trip)
Cost per trip is based on trip to one destination and return to same origin. All additional stops must be scheduled in advance. There will be a $1 charge for each additional stop. Mileage charges may also apply. Drivers do not make unscheduled stops.
Elderly passengers age sixty (60) and older, the disabled, Medicare cardholders, and children between the ages of 6-11 will be eligible for half fare. Children under 6 years of age are allowed to ride free. |

St. Tammany Parish Park and Ride Program
|
St. Tammany Parish currently has seven (7) operational park and rides located within the parish. This park and ride program was developed to provide convenient locations for commuters/ vanpoolers to park and to provide transfer points for transportation providers.

The park and rides currently do not have any fixed route services, but reservations can be made through goSTAT for rides to and from park and ride locations. One of the private transportation providers listed below can be contacted as well.

Complaint Policy
|
Any complaint regarding goSTAT service should be sent in writing to the company providing the service within 180 days of the occurrence. If the complainant feels it inappropriate to contact the company or feels that the company is not adequately addressing the complaint, the St. Tammany Parish Transportation Administration office should be contacted.
Any complaints or maintenance requests regarding park and rides should be sent directly to the St. Tammany Parish Transportation office. |
