REQUEST FOR PUBLIC COMMENTS AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS 2021-2022 Community Development Block Grant Program Annual Action Plan

The St. Tammany Parish Department of Grants has completed a draft of its 2021 Program Year Annual Action Plan for the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). The purpose of the Annual Action Plan is to notify the public of intended activities to be undertaken using HUD’s Community Development Block Grant. The Parish is currently accepting Public Comments for the 2021 Annual Action Plan. The following items are included in the Action Plan:

A. The amount of funds available for proposed community development and housing activities for PY 2021: $1,255,172.00 of which: $188,275.80 is for Public Services.

B. The range of activities available that may be undertaken, including the estimated amount of funds proposed to be used for activities that will benefit persons of low and moderate incomes. All program funds will be spent on projects/programs that benefit low- and moderate-income persons.

The Report provides detailed information on actual accomplishments and is available for public examination and comment for 5 days as required by HUD reporting requirements. Residents of St. Tammany Parish are invited to comment on the Parish’s proposed Annual Action Plan from August 5th, 2021 until August 11th, 2021 at 4:30 PM.

Copies of the report may be reviewed online on the St. Tammany Parish Department of Health and Human Services Web page located at http://www.stpgov.org/CDBG and scroll down to “Public Notices” 2021- 2022 CDBG Annual Plan. Copies will be provided upon request by calling 985-867-5095. St. Tammany Parish will hold one (1) Public Hearing regarding the 2021- 2022 Annual Action Plan. The meeting will be held on Thursday, August 12th, 2021 at 3:30 pm in the Parish Council Chambers, at 21454 Koop Drive, Building A, Mandeville, LA. The purpose of the meeting is to notify the public of intended activities to be undertaken using HUD’s Community Development Block Grant. All residents of the Parish of St. Tammany are encouraged to attend this meeting. Accommodations will be made for persons with disabilities and non-speaking individuals provided that three-day notice is given to the Parish.

RFP#21-14-3 Auditing Services

This RFP is available online at http://www.stpgov.org. It is the Proposer’s responsibility to check the Parish website frequently for any possible addenda that may be issued.  The Parish is not responsible for a proposer’s failure to download any addenda documents required to complete an RFP.

Responses will be received by the Department of Procurement, until 2:00 p.m. CST Monday, August, 23rd, 2021.  RFP responses will be opened publicly at the physical location as stated in Section 1.4 of the RFP documents and only respondents who have submitted an RFP response shall be identified aloud.  Prices shall not be read.  Each response will be evaluated by designated Parish personnel after the submission deadline and public opening has passed.
