The Animal Shelter provides a safe and clean facility for stray animals or unwanted pets.
Responsible for the review and approval of subdivision development, commercial and residential permits, and compliance with federal and state regulations within unincorporated St. Tammany Parish.
Responsible for providing the control, monitoring and inspection of sewerage and water systems and environmental services including the litter abatement program.
Responsible for maintaining nearly 40 facilities throughout St. Tammany Parish.
Responsible for accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, collection and distribution of funds, fiscal management, maintenance and indebtedness and investments and entity-wide transaction compliance monitoring.
The Parish’s central administrative unit responsible for securing external resources through grants and contracts as well as accountability to those sources.

Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness
Maintains a comprehensive and effective response to any natural or technological emergency that may occur and which poses a threat to lives and property in St Tammany Parish.
Administers and coordinates the hiring process of new parish employees, enforcement of personnel policies and provides employee benefits and payroll.
Provides centralized procurement services for the Parish government departments, offices and agencies to procure equipment, supplies, and services for the Parish.
All Road and Drainage Maintenance activities within the unincorporated areas of the Parish.
