Path to the Future

Path to the Future - Thoroughfare Plan

Upon implementation, this plan will take a focused, systematic approach to making Capital Road Improvements. This is a visionary plan that includes improvements of existing roadways, and the design and creation of future roads to ultimately increase capacity, traffic flow and safety.

Development Code Rewrite - Public Comment Draft

These new devlopment standards will incorporate changes to the ordinances to create a streamlined, organized  development process and improve regulations in several areas including, building code, drainage and flood control, health and santiation and zoning. In establishing these standards, every structure built in St. Tammany will reflect well thought out parameters to encourage, maintain and institute a unique and indentifiable image for residential and commercial development in our community.

St. Tammany Parish Government, under the leadership of Parish President Michael Cooper, works hard every day to improve this Parish's infrastructure. The Parish continues to make improving our roads and drainage a top priority, year in and year out. The map on this page is a graphical depiction of what's happening now, and as projects get completed and as infrastructure is improved, the map will be updated with all the great accomplishments our team members achieve.
