At the request of Parish Councilman Reid Falconer, the following discussion item has been placed on the Off-the-Floor Agenda for the February 2nd St. Tammany Parish Council Meeting:

Discussion – Severe traffic hazards to St. Tammany Parish residents traveling the morning commute on the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway due to poor intersection management at 6th Street and Causeway Blvd. in Jefferson Parish while road work continues.

The item has been added to the agenda because traffic is currently being backed up on the Causeway Bridge for four or more miles, elevating the possibility of accidents, particularly during poor weather conditions.

The St. Tammany Parish Council meeting will begin at 6:00PM, Thursday, February 2nd, in the Parish Council Chambers, 21490 Koop Drive.
