LADOTD I-12 Lane Closure

I-12, St. Tammany Parish, Lane Closure, S.P. No. 454-04-0080

 

 

The outside (right) lane of Eastbound I-12, from mile post 85.1, near the Robert Road overpass, to the I-10/I-12/I-59 interchange, mile post 85.6, AND the I-59 on ramp to I-10 Eastbound will be closed beginning Friday night, June 1, 2012, through Monday morning, June 4, 2012, 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., while the contractor is performing concrete patching (weather permitting).  One lane will be open at all times on I-12.

 

There will be a lane closure of the inside (left) lane of the Westbound I-12, near milepost 83.59, at the US 11 interchange, on Monday night, June 4, 2012, 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., while crews pour concrete for the new bridge span, weather permitting. One lane will be open at all times on I-12.

 

There will be a lane closure of the inside (left) lane of the Eastbound I-12, near milepost 83.59, at the US 11 interchange, on Friday night, June 8, 2012, 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., while crews pour concrete for the new bridge span, weather permitting. One lane will be open at all times on I-12.

 

Permit/Detour Section

By law, oversize loads are not allowed to travel at night.  Emergency vehicles will have access.

 

During the nightly construction, to avoid the lane closure, eastbound motorists may take I-12 to LA 434 (Lacombe), South on LA 434 to US 190, East on US 190 to I-10, and westbound motorists may take I-10 to US 190 (Gause Boulevard), East on US 190 to LA 434 (Lacombe), North on LA 434 to I-12.
