US 190 Eastbound and Westbound, from US 11 “Front Street” (Mile Post 271.58) to I-10 (Mile Post 273.38), the outside/right lane and the inside/left lane in each direction will be closed separately and individually from Saturday, July 7, 2012 through Sunday, July 15, 2012 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (weather permitting).  At least one lane in each direction will remain open at all times.  This lane closure will allow crews to use a moving operation to remove and replace pavement markings.

The road is open for regular traffic.

Motorists may take Fremeaux (US 190 Business), LA 433 (Old Spainish Trail) or I-12 via US 11 & I-10 as an alternate routes to avoid construction.
