St. Tammany Parish sandbag locations will be open tonight, Monday August 27^th until 7:00 p.m.. They will reopen Tuesday, August 28^th from at 7:00 a.m. and stay open until Noon. 

 

The Tammany Trace will close Tuesday and Wednesday, August 28 and 29.

 

Washington St. Tammany Electric Cooperative reports that it is prepared to deal with the ramifications of the Tropical Storm Isaac; however, the utility expects substantial damage should the storm stay on the current projected path. During high winds from Isaac, electric lines can be torn down by limbs and trees.  Any dangling lines or lines on the ground can be deadly.
