St. Tammany Parish District 9 Councilman Gene Bellisario has set Tuesday, December 11, 2012 for his next District 9 Community Meeting.   The meeting will start at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria of Boyet Jr. High School, on Rebel Drive (off Pearl St., off E. Gause Blvd.)

The primary discussion topics for the meeting will be: a presentation by Parish President, Pat Brister to review the cooperative endeavor agreements that preserve the majority of mental health services provided at Southeast Louisiana Hospital in Mandeville; discuss the status and possibly the decision on the Garbage Collection District #1’s proposal; discuss the adoption of the 2013 Parish Operating and Capital Improvement Budgets to be adopted on Thursday, December 6th; discuss the responsibilities relating to debris pickup and grass cutting along Military Road and continuing discussion regarding the Brownswitch Road roundabout.  Also, we will review the 2013-2016 proposed capital projects in District 9; discuss issues relating to two drainage projects in District 9 and the progress made regarding other local and parishwide projects.
