Mobile Website Now Available
The St. Tammany Parish website now has a mobile version available for use with all phones with internet capability. To access the mobile version of the parish website, simply go to www.stpgov.org and your phone will display the mobile version.
The mobile version of the website has been streamlined for optimum use on a phone. Nine navigation icons appear, including one to access the full website. Viewable information includes the President’s Message, News, Calendar, Construction Updates, Traffic Cameras, Channel 10, and Contacts. Note: IPhones are not yet able to stream Channel 10.
“We are very pleased to offer this mobile version of our website to citizens,” said Parish President Kevin Davis. “Much of our business today is conducted on our phones, and this is just another tool we can provide to the public.”
Parish government encourages citizens to add this site to their smart phone home screens so they are able to access emergency information. “In the event of an evacuation, this mobile site will keep citizens updated anywhere the internet is available,” said Davis.
