Notice is hereby given pursuant to Art. 7, Sec.23(C) of La. Constitution and R.S. 47:1705(B) that a public hearing of the St. Tammany Parish Council will be held at the regular meeting place, St. Tammany Parish Council Chambers, 21490 Koop Drive, Mandeville, Louisiana on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 6:00 pm to consider levying additional or increased millage rates without further voter approval or adopting the adjusted millage rate and rolling forward to a millage rate not to exceed the prior year=s maximum.  The estimated amount of tax revenues to be collected in the next tax year from the increased millage is $31,693,255 and the amount of increase in taxes attributable to the millage increase is $2,942,501.

This is not a new tax and St. Tammany Parish shall not exceed the voter approved maximum millage rate.
