Sealed bids will be received by the Department of Procurement, until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 30, 2021, and then opened and read publicly at that time by the Procurement Staff for the following project: 

Bid # 21-19-2 2021 District 1, 4, 5, 10 Road Improvements

Each paper bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope.  The outside of the envelope shall show the Name and Address of the Bidder, the State Contractor’s License Number of the Bidder

(if the work is estimated at $50k or more), the Bid Name and the Bid Number.

 

The project classification is:

Highway, Street, & Bridge Construction

This bid package is available online at http://www.stpgov.org/ or at www.bidexpress.com

It is the Bidder’s responsibility to check the Parish website frequently for any possible addenda that may be issued.  The Parish is not responsible for a Bidder’s failure to download any addenda documents required to complete a submission.

The St. Tammany Parish Council will conduct the above meetings in the Council Chambers. The livestream will be available for viewing on regular broadcast channels (Charter Channel 710; U-verse Channel 99) or on the Parish website: www.stpgov.org. The livestream will begin at 6:00 PM on Thursday, May 06, 2021 for the Regular Council Meeting.

E-mail comments regarding items on the Agenda may be submitted to the Council Office at councilstpgov.org no later than 4:00PM on Thursday, June 03, 2021 for the Council Meeting and no later than 4:00PM on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 for the Agenda Review Meeting and Council Finance Meeting. All comments submitted by e-mail will be read into the record in reference to the relevant Agenda item.

                                                    NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS                                                              

                                                                    St. Tammany Parish Government is seeking responses for the following project:

RFP# 21-11-3 – STAR Transit Urban Operations 2021

Responses will be received by the Department of Procurement, until 2:00 p.m. CST Wednesday, June 16, 2021.  RFP responses will be opened publicly at the physical location as stated in Section 1.4 of the RFP documents and only respondents who have submitted an RFP response shall be identified aloud.  Prices shall not be read.  Each response will be evaluated by designated Parish personnel after the submission deadline and public opening has passed.

Each Proposal must be sealed. The outside of the envelope, box or package should be marked with the Proposer’s Name and Address, the Proposal Name, the RFP #, and the Proposal Opening Date. 

The successful Respondent must supply St. Tammany Parish Government with all required documentation as specified in the RFP documents.  Said Respondent must also be in Good Standing and licensed to do business in the State of Louisiana.

Statement of Intent for Public Service Program Funding

The U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) issued St. Tammany Parish Government as a HUD Entitlement Grantee, $1,236,944 of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) on February 25, 2021 for FY 2021-2022. The CDBG Program is designed to serve low-to moderate-income individuals and is funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

St. Tammany Parish Department of Grants seeks Statements of Intent from qualified non-profit, 501(c)3 organizations for its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.  The parish seeks public service programs that have an emphasis on affordable housing, homeless prevention, anti-poverty, homeownership education, and public transportation.  The total amount of CDBG funds obligated for public service activities must not exceed 15 percent ($185,541.60) of the annual grant allocation.
