	St. Tammany Parish Fishing Pier The St. Tammany Parish Fishing Pier in Slidell is currently closed due to the result of Hurricane Ida in 2021. St. Tammany Parish is actively working with FEMA to build a stronger, more sustainable pier for the Slidell community.
	The Tammany Trace Experience over 30 miles of an award winning rails-to-trails bikepath stretching from Downtown Covington to Camp Salmen Nature Park in Slidell. Ride through scenic forests, lazy bayous and local wildlife including alligators and deer. Once a part of the historic Illinois Central Railroad, the path of the Tammany Trace has always been at the heart of our parish's communities.

	The Holiday of Lights A staple of the Northshore’s Christmas season celebrates its 25th anniversary on December 6, 7, 13 and 14 on Koop Drive in Mandeville! The annual event is free to the public. More information will be announced this summer.
