Facilities Management

The Department of Facilities Management is responsible for maintenance operations, internal/ external upkeep and landscaping at approximately 50 facilities throughout St. Tammany Parish. The department staff ensures building safety and the optimal performance of building systems by providing preventative maintenance and repair on all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and building security systems. Facilities Management Department assists in formulating Capital Budgets to ensure large capital repairs/construction are budgeted for Parish Buildings to include St Tammany Parish Libraries and the Parish Jail. 
Among their other responsibilities, the department assists in planning events held on Parish properties such as the Holiday of Lights, the St. Tammany Parish Fair and provide logistics support for all functions at the St Tammany Parish Fair Grounds.  Facility Management Department provides oversite and maintenance activities to the St Tammany Regional Airport.  They support the Clerk of Court by assessing all polling locations to ensure ADA Compliance and assists to ensure the HVAC, restrooms and phone services are in working order during elections. Finally, they provide oversite and help in renting out available Parish Property and Buildings.

St. Tammany Parish Government Facilities consist of approximately 731,000 square feet of building space and include:
